The company Victorinox from Ibach in Switzerland is the manufacturer of the Swiss Army Knife (actually officer's knife) since the late 19th century. The knife with the characteristic logo with the Swiss cross is world famous. The different Swiss Army Knifes with several tools made of stainless steel are indispensable for armies around the globe as well as for Nasa, various aid organisations or private people from young to old.
Until 2005, Victorinox shared the production of the Swiss Army Knife with Wenger, which was taken over by Victorinox in 2005.
In addition to the various knives and a bayonet for the Swiss Assault Rifle 90, Victorinox also produces luggage and high-quality Swiss watches.
Victorinox Watch SA was founded in 1999 in Bonfol in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The watch collection currently comprises more than 160 different models in the three product lines Active, Classic and Professional.
