Skeleton watches offer a special design experience. The open front and back not only provides great insights into the inside of a wristwatch, but also gives the watch an extravagant design.
Instead of a dial, a lot of glass allows an open view of the finely meshing gears, pendulums and hands. This creates a unique awareness of the filigree craftsmanship and fine mechanics of a high-quality watch.
Various plates, mostly made of extremely sturdy sapphire crystal, are attached above the movement, so that all the small, moving gears as well as the numerous screws, fine individual parts and tense springs are visible.
In an elaborate production process, the movement of the wristwatch is (partially) exposed by the finest sawing, punching or milling work.
